Past Performances
Throughout the Summer of '05 Harmetz could be heard evenings as a featured soloist at the Bella Notte concerts at the picturesque Portofino Bay Hotel, Universal. On September 17, At the Double Tree Hotel, Orlando, Harmetz could be heard at the Delightful Night Concert also starring Kettia Cherenfant, Savery, and Pastor Ronald. Bella Baroque, Central Florida's acclaimed baroque music troupe, was featured in the Music Around the World program at the First Presbyterian Church of Orlando on October 7th. Ms. Harmetz was a featured soloist. Harmetz's Central Florida public debut was at the Hacienda Hills Country Club in The Villages, where she performed in regular concerts. She has also performed in concerts at the Savannah Center, also in the Villages. Other concerts throughout the 2002-2004 seasons took place at Spruce Creek (Summerfield), Kingsridge (Clermont), Helen Stairs Theater (Sanford), Palladium Theater (St. Petersburg), Henegar Center for the Arts (Melbourne), The Plantation (Leesburg), Harbor Hills and the Orlando Country Club. Harmetz's private Solo Concert debut was at the Westminster Towers on September 6th. Other repeat private concert engagements have taken place at the University Club of Winter Park, the Orlando Country Club, Winter Park Towers, Village on the Green (Orlando & Longwood), The Mayflower (Winter Park), Chambrel at Island Lake (Longwood) and the Orlando Lutheran Towers. She has previously sung each Sunday morning as the resident soloist at the 1st Church of Christ in Leesburg, Florida. On April 16 the members of the California Club in San Francisco sponsored a special performance of the Opera Bastien and Bastienne by Mozart. Harmetz sang as Bastienne and also directed the opera. On April 14, Harmetz sang selections from Monteverdi's Vespers in a concert in San Francisco, at the National Shrine of St. Francis in North Beach. She was joined by Greta Larson, soprano, Jessica Blinn, alto and several other singers from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and surrounding areas. In a very merry and much lighter role, during the windy yet warm Holiday Seasons in San Francisco, Harmetz could also be discovered as a featured member of a Dickens of a Caroling Group called the Mistletones.
